Frequently Asked Questions
Many people come into recovery hoping for a quick fix. We understand that—the pain and destruction caused by addiction has gone on long enough. People are exhausted and want the nightmare to end.
We believe in being honest. True, lasting recovery takes time.
While it may take only a moment to stop using substances or engaging in addictive behaviors, healing the reasons behind the addiction takes longer. Recovery also involves repairing relationships, rebuilding trust, and learning new ways of living. We are talking about real recovery—one that lasts.
We are not a quick band-aid solution. Our program is designed to take the appropriate amount of time needed to ensure addiction does not continue to show up throughout your life. This program is not for everyone—it is for those who have had enough and are willing to do the work required to build a happy life in recovery.
The good news is that positive changes begin quickly. Clients often start feeling better about themselves and their lives right away, and that improvement continues as the work deepens.
Program Lengths (General Guidelines)
Our programs are personalized, so length depends on each client’s history, needs, and goals. Below are typical timeframes to give you a general idea.
Detoxification Program
- 5 to 45 days, depending on substances used and individual circumstances
- Average: 10–20 days
- Some clients do not need detox and choose a 5-day relaxation and preparation phase before therapy begins
Solutions Program
Option 1: Healing Vacation (Away from Home)
- 30 days of intensive therapy on location
- Followed by 30–60 days continued support after returning home
- Clients may stay longer if desired
- 60 days of full-time (9 hours/day) work provides an especially strong foundation
- Longer stays are often more effective due to the intensity, focus, and separation from daily distractions
Option 2: At-Home Solutions Program
- 3 to 6 months, depending on the client
- We recommend 6 months when done at home, as therapy is part-time
- Sessions are scheduled around work and life responsibilities
- Clients commit to making therapy a priority
Clients may choose whichever option best fits their life.
Recovery Program
- No fixed time limit
- Typically 2–3 months, but fully individualized
- Completed at home while reintegrating into daily life
- Focuses on building new routines, behaviors, activities, and a sustainable way of living
A Final Note
Everyone arrives here from a different place. Addictions vary in type, duration, and intensity, so recovery must be tailored to the individual. We walk our clients through every step—emotionally, mentally, and practically—helping them build a life that no longer requires addiction.
This is your life. As far as we know, you only get one. We are here to help you make the most of it.
We recommend a recovery commitment of anywhere from three months to one year, depending on the individual and the amount of effort they invest in their program. When clients are able to step away for the Solutions phase—our intensive therapy component—they truly beat the clock and place themselves ahead of the curve. That said, a six-month program provides an excellent foundation to build lasting recovery. Anything less than three months may not be sufficient to withstand life’s pressures and the many changes that come with sobriety. We’re not saying it’s impossible—but it’s not a risk we’re willing to recommend.
Relapse is always a possibility when a recovery foundation isn’t solid enough. While relapse can sometimes serve as a learning experience, it can also be deadly. Our goal is for clients to be finished with the nightmare of addiction—not stuck in an ongoing struggle. That’s why we take the time necessary to do this work right, leaving no stone unturned and no trauma unaddressed.
We break our program into **three distinct phases—Detoxification, Solutions, and Recovery—**because true recovery is a process, not a one-size-fits-all event. Each phase serves a specific purpose and allows clients to move through recovery in a structured, supportive, and manageable way.
Our program is in-depth and requires patience, determination, motivation, and a genuine desire to change. By breaking recovery into phases, we make the journey less overwhelming and ensure that every critical step is addressed. Each phase builds upon the previous one, creating a strong foundation for lasting change.
Not everyone enters recovery at the same place. Some clients need full detoxification support, others are ready to begin working on solutions immediately, and some have already stopped using substances and come to us seeking guidance on how to live a happy, fulfilled life in recovery. Our phased approach allows us to meet each client exactly where they are.
We take relapse seriously. Too often, people leave recovery programs only to relapse days later—usually because they return to everyday life without guidance or support. Through careful study, we’ve seen that many programs fail to address the root cause of addiction. Without understanding why the addiction began, the risk of relapse remains high.
Addiction itself is not the root problem—it is a symptom. It is often a coping mechanism used to escape emotional pain, pressure, or unresolved trauma. If those underlying issues are not treated and replaced with healthy coping strategies, relapse becomes likely.
We know many people are searching for a quick and easy solution, but we refuse to be dishonest. We would rather close our doors than sell a short-term program that gives false hope and leads to relapse. Recovery is serious work, and lasting change requires time and commitment.
Our promise is to provide an honest, thorough, and effective program—one that focuses on long-term success, not quick fixes. We intentionally work with fewer clients so we can provide individualized care, real guidance, and meaningful support.
Recovery done properly takes time, but with a strong foundation and the help of our specialists, clients begin to feel better every step of the way. No one is left to face recovery alone. Our coaches are present throughout the entire journey—motivating, educating, and explaining what clients are experiencing and why. By helping clients understand how their brains work and what drives their behaviors, we empower them to succeed and build a truly happy future.
Our program is designed as a fully bespoke, white-glove experience—crafted entirely around you.
Vacation Healing
With our Vacation Healing option, clients may choose to travel anywhere in the world with our private team. We maintain access to discreet, luxury residences and partner facilities across the globe, allowing you to heal in an environment that reflects your personal tastes and lifestyle.
If you envision therapy aboard a private yacht, we arrange it. If you prefer the privacy and serenity of the Rocky Mountains, we curate a secluded retreat. For clients who love skiing, Switzerland is an option. From coastal escapes to alpine hideaways, every detail—travel, accommodations, privacy, and scheduling—is handled seamlessly by our concierge team.
We bring together elite specialists from around the world, assembling a hand-selected team uniquely suited to you. Our program is strictly one-client-at-a-time. You will never encounter another client. Each journey is entirely private, exclusive, and designed solely around your needs.
At-Home Therapy
For clients who cannot step away from daily responsibilities, we offer the same level of care in the comfort of your own home. Our specialists travel to you—anywhere in the world—delivering a fully immersive, concierge-level therapeutic experience without disruption to your life.
A Hybrid Experience
Many clients choose a blended approach, moving between private travel and home-based care. You may begin a phase in a destination setting, then transition home—or vice versa. Wherever you go, we go with you. The experience adapts fluidly to your life.
The Experience of Recovery
Recovery is not merely treatment—it is a profound, life-defining journey. It is an investment in self-mastery, personal responsibility, and transformation. When done properly, recovery is elegant in its depth and powerful in its results. Each day, the layers of the old self fall away, revealing a stronger, self-reliant version of you.
True recovery is not for the passive. It is for those with the courage to look inward and choose change. Those who walk through this process often emerge with clarity, strength, and a sense of purpose that allows them to impact the world in meaningful ways.
While the journey may be demanding, it is extraordinary—and worth every step. We are honored to walk beside you, providing uncompromising care, absolute discretion, and an experience defined by excellence.
Absolutely. Choosing to begin with our Detoxification Program alone is not only possible—it is a powerful and meaningful first step, and we would be truly honored to support you through it.
Our detox experience is designed to feel more like a private wellness retreat than a conventional program. From the moment you arrive, every detail is curated for comfort, restoration, and peace. Daily therapeutic massages, infrared sauna sessions, heated pools, and tranquil hot tubs are all part of your journey—available whenever you need them—to allow your body and nervous system to fully relax and reset.
Medically, your care is overseen with the highest level of professionalism. Our licensed medical doctors closely monitor your physical wellbeing throughout the detox process, supported by experienced recovery coaches who remain by your side. Each client receives a comprehensive medical evaluation, ensuring that any underlying concerns are identified and addressed with precision and care. Your health and safety are never left to chance.
What truly sets our program apart is our advanced brain monitoring and mapping. At every stage, we assess your brain activity and provide you with a detailed brain scan, allowing you to literally see your progress. This integrative approach bridges modern neuroscience with holistic healing, giving you clarity, insight, and confidence from the very beginning.
Nourishment is equally intentional. Our vitamin and supplementation protocols are carefully designed, and all meals are crafted with premium, nutrient-dense ingredients to support detoxification at a cellular level.
Spiritually, the experience is yours to shape. Some clients choose to invite Buddhist monks or other spiritual practitioners to perform healing ceremonies, meditation, or energy work. These offerings are entirely optional, yet deeply meaningful for those seeking a more sacred, soul-centered dimension to their healing. We honor all paths and beliefs.
Our philosophy is rooted in natural therapy. We do not administer medication—our focus is on restoring balance through medical oversight, advanced diagnostics, holistic practices, and deep, personalized care.
You are safe here. You are supported here. And from the very start, everything we do is designed to help you succeed—physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Yes. Not everyone who comes to us has completed—or needs—our Detoxification Program. If you choose not to detox with us, we simply ask that you have been free from your addiction for at least seven days, as a clear and stable mindset is essential to fully benefit from the program.
While we strongly recommend ongoing guidance after therapy, participation in the recovery portion of the program is optional, not required. Many clients choose to continue, but it is never pushed or mandatory.
Our Solutions Program is a deep, focused exploration of the root causes of addiction. We work to heal the underlying issues and begin replacing them with healthy beliefs, patterns, and behaviors that support lasting change.
Yes, you can—provided you have already stopped your addictions.
If you found a solution through another source or program, that’s perfectly fine. We do require that you have been free from addictive behaviors for at least 3 months before starting this portion of our program, and that you have already participated in some form of therapy, regardless of where it was completed.
We set these requirements to ensure your foundation for recovery is strong. If the root causes of addiction have not been addressed, this part of the program will not be effective in the long term. True recovery requires healing—not just abstinence.
Many people are able to quit their addictions on their own or through short-term programs. What we often see, however, is that while they may stop the behavior, they are not truly happy. Some relapse years later, while others transfer their addiction into a different form.
Our purpose is not simply to help clients stop their addictions, but to guide them toward lasting success and genuine happiness.
The Recovery portion of our program—learn more on our website—is completed at the client’s residence. Its purpose is to help clients reintegrate into everyday life, develop healthy routines, and learn how to live happily after addiction by replacing old habits with new, sustainable ones.
Our program is positioned at the high end of the market—deliberately so. While we are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive in the world, our fees reflect an uncompromising standard of excellence, discretion, and long-term results. We have meticulously evaluated more than 200 rehabilitation and recovery programs worldwide, and our services were designed to exceed them in every meaningful way.
This is a bespoke, luxury experience. Every client receives fully personalized, one-on-one care—never group therapy—delivered in an elegant, private, and highly curated environment. We take the time required for true transformation, with no shortcuts and no rigid timelines. Our commitment does not end at discharge; we remain at our clients’ service for life, extending our support to their families and future generations should they ever need us. We build enduring, meaningful relationships founded on trust, discretion, and excellence.
Our pricing reflects value and positioning. We offer an exceptionally high-touch, prestigious service delivered by a world-class, hand-selected team of specialists drawn from across the globe. Our professionals are not only highly qualified and educated in their fields, but bring a rare depth of insight shaped by real-world experience with addiction and recovery. This combination of elite expertise and lived understanding allows us to provide care that is both clinically exceptional and profoundly human.
We go far beyond what is expected—both for our clients and for our staff—because excellence requires it. As far as we are concerned, this is the finest program of its kind in the world.

Our teams of specialists are just as unique as the programs we offer. Each individual has been carefully and intentionally selected after extensive consideration. They come from all over the world, and we have put the same level of thought into choosing our specialists as we did into designing our programs.
Every specialist who works with our clients has completed a rigorous three-part intensive interview conducted directly by the founders of Deslongchamps Recovery. The founders remain actively involved in overseeing every area of the program, ensuring that each function maintains the quality, integrity, and vision upon which Deslongchamps Recovery was built.
Our specialists are true experts in their fields, with both professional training and firsthand experience. Each has personally faced the devastation addiction can cause, worked through their own challenges, and made the conscious decision to formally educate themselves in the field of addiction. This allows them to understand addiction from both a clinical and deeply personal perspective. We do not work with specialists who lack personal experience with addiction, as we firmly believe that true understanding cannot be learned from books alone.
We have searched diligently and carefully to find the right people to support our clients. We also recognize that cultural and ethnic backgrounds can be important to an individual’s sense of comfort and trust. For this reason, we take client preferences into account during the intake process. Our intention is never rooted in discrimination or exclusion, but rather in creating an environment where each client feels safe, understood, and fully supported throughout their recovery journey.
We understand that committing to a recovery program is a big decision, and we want you to feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.
Once we’ve confirmed your start dates and completed the arrangements for your personalized program, refunds depend on how close you are to beginning treatment. If your recovery start date is not imminent, we’re happy to review the possibility of a partial refund.
Because our service is highly individualized, we carefully build a dedicated team of specialists around your specific needs and preferences. We also secure travel arrangements and accommodations tailored just for you. For this reason, many costs are paid upfront and resources are reserved exclusively on your behalf.
Here’s how our refund policy works:
- 60 days’ notice before your start date allows for a full refund, excluding administration fees.
- 30 days’ notice may qualify for a partial refund, minus any administration fees and third-party cancellation charges.
- Less than 15 days before your therapy begins, refunds are unfortunately not available, as staff and services have already been fully booked for you.
Please note that once payment is made, administration fees are non-refundable.
Before accepting any payment, we’ll take the time to walk you through all of this carefully and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is never to rush you — we want you to feel fully ready, informed, and confident when you choose to begin your recovery journey.
Yes—you can start right away, or you may reserve a future date and time that works better for you.
Before starting, we’ll review some important information with you to make sure you understand our programs, the overall process, and to answer any questions you may have. We do ask that you first review the Q&A section on our website. If you still have questions afterward, please feel free to contact us.
You can reach us by phone or by messaging—whichever you’re most comfortable with. Some people prefer not to use the phone, and we’re completely fine communicating through messages.
You may choose to contact us at a later date, or begin seriously exploring your recovery options right away. We take things step by step, at your pace.
If you contact us and wish to begin therapy immediately, we’ll first make sure you’re familiar with our program and website. Once that’s done, we’re ready to move forward and begin building your personalized recovery program right away.
After we’ve created the right recovery package with you and you’ve confirmed it with payment, your program will be secured and ready to start on the date you choose. Your recovery package and pricing are valid for 30 days from the date you receive them. If you book within that 30-day window, the price will not change. After 30 days, pricing may adjust based on seasonal travel and accommodation changes.
If you are in a situation where you need to enter the program today, we will not refuse you. We can either pick you up or make the necessary arrangements for you to begin your program wherever you choose. Please note that we are a global mobile program—we either travel to our clients’ location, or clients may choose a destination anywhere in the world.
In urgent, same-day situations, the first two days will be used to complete the intake process, arrange any necessary travel, and assemble your personalized care team. Even with a last-minute decision, you will be supported and in good hands from the very start.
Contact us—we’re happy to communicate with you.
No. You do not need to be a client to access our coaching services.
We offer a wide range of coaching options that are available to anyone in recovery. While we specialize in recovery support, it does not matter whether or not you completed our program—we are here to support recovery in any form.
Our services include Children’s Coaches, Sober Coaches, Marriage and Family Coaches, and Life Coaches. Simply reach out to us by phone or email, and we’ll be happy to discuss how we can support you.
If you are looking for companionship, that is perfectly okay as well. Some individuals work with a recovery coach for a week or two, while others choose a shorter or longer arrangement. Let us know what you need, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
It’s often easier to start with what not to bring. Alcohol and drugs are, of course, not permitted.
Most of our clients need to stay connected for business, so laptops and cell phones are welcome. However, if your addiction involves social media or video games, we ask that these devices not be used for those purposes and that usage be limited strictly to business needs.
Your comfort is important to us. Please bring whatever helps you feel at ease—comfortable clothing, favorite pillows, and meaningful personal items are all encouraged.
Yes, you may even bring your pets. Family members are also welcome to join you if you choose. Children are warmly welcomed, and we are proud to offer world-class children’s coaches who can spend quality time with your kids while you focus on your recovery. Our family coaches provide exceptional care and support for children throughout your stay.
We will go over this topic with you during our interview.
Yes. You may bring your family with you, provided they agree to participate in their own individualized therapy programs at the same time. During this phase, your primary focus must be on your personal healing and recovery.
When possible, we strongly encourage families to participate together in a Family Healing Vacation Therapy Trip, as this can be a powerful and restorative experience for everyone involved.
If bringing your family with you is not convenient, another option is for your family members to engage in their own therapy programs at home while you attend your program away. The choice is entirely yours, and we will support you in determining the best path forward.
We specialize in family recovery and will carefully explore every available option to ensure your family receives the healing and therapeutic support they need. Some clients choose to complete the initial phase of the program independently, with their family joining them during the recovery portion at a later time.
We strongly advise against excluding your family from the therapeutic process. They have been affected by your addiction and deserve healing as well. We will review all possible options with you and help create a plan that best supports both you and your family.
We understand that many people come to us while taking medications, and we approach this topic with care and respect. Early in the interview process, we’ll gently ask about any medications you’re currently using. At this time, our full program isn’t available to individuals who are taking pain medications of any kind, methadone, or other mind-altering medications.
That said, you are still very welcome to participate in our detoxification program if your goal is to safely and fully discontinue these medications. We offer a supportive and comprehensive detox program designed to help those who are ready to take that step.
If you are taking medications for health-related conditions—such as diabetes, blood sugar management, or similar needs—we will thoughtfully review those on an individual basis during your interview.
Our program takes a holistic approach that focuses on the connection between body and mind. We may invite you to explore natural healing options and alternatives, always with openness and collaboration. Nothing is ever forced—our intention is simply to support you in considering possibilities that may help you feel your best, at your own pace and comfort level.
If you smoke cigarettes, that’s okay—you’re still welcome here.
We know making that first call can feel scary, and a lot of people worry they’ll be judged or turned away because of smoking. Please hear this clearly: you won’t be.
We work with many clients who use tobacco and want help stopping. We also work with people who are dealing with more than one addiction. Everyone’s situation is different, and we meet you exactly where you are.
Our approach is gentle and practical. If someone has multiple addictions, we look at them together and decide—with you—what needs attention first. When there are substances involved that pose an immediate risk to your life, we focus on getting you safe and stable before tackling slower-acting addictions like tobacco. This isn’t because smoking doesn’t matter—it absolutely does—but because your safety always comes first.
Some people are able to work on quitting smoking at the same time as other substances, and some aren’t. Either way is okay. There’s no pressure and no failure here. We’ll talk it through with you and move at a pace that feels manageable.
Even if tobacco isn’t the first thing we address, we still include education and support around smoking so you can build awareness and confidence along the way. We stay connected with you and adjust your plan as your needs change.
We also support clients who come to us only for tobacco addiction and want help quitting smoking, with no other substances involved.
If you’re nervous, unsure, or just want to ask questions, that’s more than enough reason to reach out. You don’t have to have it all figured out. We’re here to support you, not judge you—and we’ll take this one step at a time, together.
Every recovery package is individually designed around the client.
Each client receives unlimited access to our psychologists, counselors, and specialist coaches. These professionals are exclusively assigned to that client for the duration of the program—no shared time, no competing priorities. This allows our team to work deeply and thoroughly, ensuring there is more than enough time to identify and address the root causes of each client’s challenges.
Core Program Structure
Our main program follows the framework outlined on our Programs page. All programs are delivered using a gradient-based approach, meaning clients begin at their current level of comfort and understanding for each topic and progress gradually into deeper insight and awareness.
These programs are designed to educate clients about:
- themselves
- their world and relationships
- their beliefs, patterns, and reality
Through structured knowledge and understanding, clients are empowered to re-create themselves and build lasting internal change.
Therapeutic Customization
Therapies are selected on a case-by-case basis. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we carefully choose therapeutic methods that align with each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. These therapies focus on:
- learning new, healthy behaviors
- identifying and replacing unhelpful patterns
- creating sustainable change in daily life
A Team Built Around the Client
Each client has a custom-built team of specialists, selected specifically for who they are, what matters to them, and what they need to heal and grow. Our professionals have been handpicked from hundreds of applicants, ensuring exceptional expertise, alignment, and care.
In short, the client does not adapt to the program—the program is built around the client.
Every recovery journey is unique, so we can only speak to the care and intention behind our own program. Whether you choose to step away from daily life, remain at home, or blend both approaches, you will be gently and expertly supported throughout.
We understand addiction and recovery on a deeply personal level. We’ve walked this path ourselves, and we know how vulnerable change can feel—especially when addiction has been woven into your identity and daily rhythm. You are not rushed here, and you are never judged.
Our program is thoughtfully designed to feel nurturing and restorative, offering a sense of ease and quiet luxury as you move through this meaningful transition. From the moment you arrive, we focus on helping you unwind, releasing the noise and pressure of everyday life. We guide you softly into a place of comfort and safety, where you can begin to explore your inner world at your own pace.
Because of our experience and intuitive approach, many people notice a sense of relief and lightness soon after settling in. Recovery is not linear—it flows and shifts. There may be moments of deep emotion and moments of joy, reflection, and laughter. Through it all, you are held with care, respect, and compassion.
Yes. We do not discriminate. At Deslongchamps Recovery, we are at the service of humankind and are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for everyone.
During our application process, we ask questions related to sex and gender solely for the purpose of thoughtfully building your care team. Our approach to pairing clients with specialists is based on comfort, safety, and therapeutic effectiveness.
Our standard practice is to match clients with staff in a way that supports these goals, and we recognize that individual needs and identities may vary. We are always open to discussion and will work with you to ensure you feel respected, understood, and supported.
Please get in touch with us—we’re happy to talk through your needs and answer any questions.
At Deslongchamps Recovery, every program is intentionally designed for individuals who require the highest level of discretion, personalization, and excellence. Our clients are leaders, executives, public figures, and high-net-worth individuals whose lives, responsibilities, and reputations demand an elevated standard of care.
We thoughtfully evaluated group therapy models and chose not to offer them for Deslongchamps Recovery clients. While group environments can be effective for some, they do not meet the privacy, flexibility, or depth required by our clientele.
Although we operate other exceptional residential programs—such as Belle’s Recovery Center for mothers and families and the Robin Sheldon Treatment Center for fathers and families—those programs, while set in shared residences, remain fully individualized. Even there, treatment plans are private and tailored to each person. These programs serve clients who do not require the same level of confidentiality, mobility, or bespoke service as our Deslongchamps Recovery mobile clients.
For Deslongchamps Recovery, confidentiality is non-negotiable. We guarantee absolute discretion. Your participation in recovery is never disclosed—by us or through shared settings. Group therapy, by its nature, cannot offer that level of privacy.
Individual therapy ensures that every moment of care is focused entirely on you. There is no dilution of time, no competing narratives, and no pressure to disclose deeply personal experiences in front of strangers. Our clients value efficiency, depth, and results—and individual therapy allows us to move quickly, intentionally, and meaningfully into the work that matters most.
Recovery is an intensely personal process. During periods of transformation, individuals are often emotionally exposed and vulnerable. Group environments can unintentionally introduce distractions—interpersonal dynamics, emotional attachments, or conflicts—that pull focus away from healing. For executives and leaders accustomed to clarity and control, this can undermine progress.
We also recognize that discomfort within group dynamics—whether from mismatched personalities or differing perspectives—can consume emotional energy that should be directed inward. Our approach removes those variables entirely, allowing recovery to take place in a calm, private, and secure environment.
Deslongchamps Recovery offers a white-glove, individualized experience designed around your life, your schedule, and your needs—so you can heal with dignity, discretion, and uncompromised focus.
Yes. One of the unique benefits of our program is that we don’t operate out of a single, fixed center. We are a fully mobile recovery program and work wherever our clients choose to be.
Some clients prefer to stay close to home. For example, we’ve worked with a very busy family in Manhattan by meeting them in their home during the weekdays and spending weekends together at a nearby countryside accommodation just a couple of hours away. This approach allowed them to stay connected to their routines while still fully engaging in the program.
Others choose a mix of travel and home-based care. One client from Vancouver, BC began with a one-week healing retreat in the Rocky Mountains, then continued the remainder of the program from home.
Another client chose to travel one week each month and complete the rest of the program in their private residence over a five-month period.
We arrange all travel and accommodations as needed. You are free to choose where in the world you would like to go through the program — or you can stay at home, and we will come to you.
Yes—absolutely. We strongly encourage it.
Addiction affects the entire family, not just the individual struggling with substance use. Families often experience deep emotional pain, trauma, and a sense of helplessness as they watch someone they love self-destruct. Healing the family system is a vital part of lasting recovery.
Some of our clients choose to have their family participate in the full program alongside them. In these cases, families may also attend The Family Healing Vacation Program, where each participant receives a fully individualized, tailor-made plan designed around their own needs.
More commonly, clients complete the first two phases—The Detoxification Program and The Solutions Program—on their own. During the Recovery Phase, they then bring their family into the process, allowing everyone to engage in therapy and healing together.
We are a family-centered recovery solution. Our mission is not just recovery from addiction, but the restoration of the family as a whole. The loved ones who stood by—confused, hurt, and powerless—were affected too. They deserve care, understanding, and healing.
Without proper support, unresolved trauma can surface later in life, often in subtle ways. Children and family members may show no obvious signs at first, but the impact can emerge over time. Recovery is strongest when everyone receives the help they need—not just the person who struggled with addiction.
Healing together creates the foundation for a healthier future for the entire family.
If you ever feel at risk of relapse—or if you experience one after leaving our program—you contact us immediately. You will have direct access to your therapists, coaches, and counselors. You are not alone, and you never will be again.
From the moment you begin our program, we complete a comprehensive evaluation designed specifically for you. This includes brain mapping and qEEG sessions to clearly identify the areas we will work on together. You receive a copy of your evaluation, and we review your progress weekly—tracking what you’ve addressed, healed, and strengthened. Before you leave the program, we complete a final brain map to confirm healthy brain function and strong neural connections.
Throughout your time with us, you receive ongoing weekly evaluations, education, and support. We don’t just help you recover—we teach you how to maintain recovery for life.
While we never say “never,” we have not yet had a client relapse after completing our full recovery program. That said, relapse has been studied extensively through both lived experience and research. For some people, relapse can be part of the recovery journey—but not for everyone. When relapse does occur, it is most often connected to specific factors, such as:
- Leaving the program before completion
- Stopping the inner work after returning home
- Returning to a hostile or unsafe family environment
- Experiencing a significant trauma
Because of this, we have built a dedicated relapse prevention program that remains available to you for as long as you need it. There is no time limit on our support. We are at your service for life. If challenges arise, it is your responsibility to reach out—and when you do, we walk beside you. We help you identify risk points, recognize early warning signs, and navigate the “forks in the road” before they lead to relapse.
Recovery is not something you do once and move on from. It requires ongoing care, self-awareness, and commitment. Over time, it becomes easier—not because you are returning to who you were, but because you are becoming someone new. That transformation takes dedication, focus, and patience. One day, you wake up and realize your old self no longer defines you.
If you complete The Solutions Program Phase and The Recovery Program Phase (including detoxification if clinically necessary), the likelihood of relapse is extremely low.
We are a thorough, in-depth recovery program. You are repeatedly educated on the signs and stages of relapse so you can recognize them early. By the time you complete our program, you understand yourself deeply—what triggers you, what strengthens you, and what protects your recovery.
We do not send you “out the door” and hope for the best. That is not who we are.
Your recovery is built to last. Recovery coaches and sober companions remain available to you after program completion. Our aftercare program is open to you for life, and we continue to check in with you.
We understand how challenging it can be to reintegrate into life after addiction—avoiding isolation, rebuilding relationships, and learning how to live again. We prepare you for this transition and remain physically present for as long as you need us.
Everyone at Deslongchamps Recovery has been personally affected by addiction—including our founder. This program was built on over 20 years of lived experience, education, and dedication. Our therapists and coaches are hand-selected not only for their professional expertise, but for their firsthand understanding of addiction and recovery.
You are valued here. You are supported here. Deslongchamps Recovery is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—for life.
No. This program is not affiliated with any religion and it is not faith-based. What is required is a willingness to understand how your mind and body work together to create your life experience.
Our work is grounded in well-established science—quantum physics, neuroscience, and epigenetics—and how these disciplines explain change, healing, and personal transformation. We use measurable tools, including brain mapping, to track your progress so you can see and feel the changes as they happen.
Modern science is now revealing what was once considered mystical: that your thoughts, emotions, and internal state directly influence your biology and your reality. Quantum physics, in particular, is helping bridge the gap between what science can measure and what humans have intuitively felt for centuries. You don’t need prior knowledge of any of these subjects—we translate the science into practical, recovery-focused applications that anyone can understand and use.
That said, we do invite you to keep an open mind. The human body, the brain, and consciousness itself are extraordinary, and learning how they function can be empowering and even awe-inspiring.
Our goal is simple but profound: to teach you how your inner world shapes your outer life, and how changing your internal state can lead to greater confidence, emotional safety, and a deep sense of self-worth. As you learn to regulate your nervous system, rewire your brain, and align your body and mind, you’ll naturally begin to stand taller, feel more secure, and become proud of who you are—by design, not by belief.
While no recovery program can ethically guarantee results, we do guarantee something just as important: a lifetime of unlimited recovery support.
We go above and beyond for every client and remain actively involved in their lives long after they leave the program. Our aftercare and relapse-prevention services are available for as long as our clients need them—there is no expiration. If they need us, we are there.
Recovery, by its nature, is not dependent on services alone. It also depends on how each client applies what they learn and the choices they make moving forward. Because of that, we cannot guarantee recovery itself.
What we can guarantee is unwavering support, ongoing guidance, and lifelong access to our services. We will always do everything possible to help our clients succeed—the responsibility to build a meaningful, healthy life ultimately rests with them, but they never have to do it alone.
Yes, payment plans are available. However, the total cost of each program or phase must be paid in full before that portion of the program begins.
This payment structure is necessary due to the nature of our mobile, fully customized recovery program. We book locations, secure staff, and make individualized arrangements for each client in advance, all of which require upfront payment on our end.
For example, if you choose to begin with the Solutions phase, you may pay only for that phase to start. However, before moving on to the Recovery or Detoxification phases, each respective phase must be paid in full prior to starting. This policy applies to all programs and phases.
Regarding insurance: please contact us directly to inquire about medical insurance coverage, as some plans may cover a portion of the cost. Keep in mind that insurance providers typically require lower-cost services. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your coverage.
We do not operate waiting lists. Rather than a single location, we curate access to an exclusive portfolio of exquisite private residences and elite retreats across the world—and, if preferred, we provide discreet in-home services wherever our clients reside.
Our program is entirely private. Clients never encounter other clients, and confidentiality is absolute. Even our billing is handled through an anonymous numeric system, ensuring complete discretion—no names, no program identifiers, and no external visibility whatsoever.
When a client chooses to begin therapy, they simply tell us where they would like to go and how they wish to live. From there, we design a fully bespoke experience around their lifestyle, preferences, and timeframe. We secure exceptional accommodations in their chosen destination, presenting a selection that reflects the level of comfort, elegance, and privacy they expect.
For example, should you wish to travel to Hawaii for any portion of our Solutions and/or Detoxification Program, we will curate a range of refined private estates, luxury villas, or secluded oceanfront properties for you to choose from—each aligned with your desired standard of living.
Family members and pets are welcome to accompany you, should you wish. Every detail is thoughtfully arranged to ensure ease, serenity, and continuity of your personal life.
We offer accommodations across the full spectrum of luxury lifestyles—from understated elegance to ultra-luxury—always tailored exclusively to you.
The number of hours per day depends on how the program is completed.
The Healing Vacation Program (away from home)
This is our most intensive option. Therapy runs approximately 9 hours per day, and can be longer if the client feels able and willing. The focused, distraction-free environment allows for deep therapeutic work and significantly shortens the overall recovery timeline.
At-home Therapy Program
This option is designed for clients who are unable to get away due to work, family, or other commitments. Therapy typically runs 4 to 6 hours per day. While it is less intensive than the Healing Vacation Program, it still provides a strong therapeutic foundation. Because the hours are fewer, the program generally takes longer to complete. We never compromise the quality of our work, while remaining flexible to support our clients’ access to therapy.
Advantages of at-home therapy
- Family and loved ones adjust gradually alongside you
- You integrate changes directly into everyday life
- A gentler transition as healing unfolds
Disadvantages of at-home therapy
- Everyday distractions
- The need for strong commitment and time management
Advantages of the Healing Vacation Program
- Highly focused, intensive therapy
- No outside distractions
- Faster overall recovery time
Disadvantages of the Healing Vacation Program
- Re-entering daily life after intensive change can feel challenging for some clients
Both options are highly effective—the right choice depends on your availability, lifestyle, and how intensively you wish to engage in the healing process.
Our aftercare program is available to our clients for life. If a former client ever needs support—at any stage—or if their children need guidance, we are always here. We do not believe in sending clients out the door and wishing them luck. Recovery does not end when the program ends; it begins there. We walk alongside our clients for as long as they need us.
Clients are gradually supported as they transition back into everyday life. They retain direct contact information for the staff members who were involved in their treatment and recovery, allowing for ongoing connection, accountability, and guidance. Our relationships with clients remain strong long after completion of the program.
We take our commitment seriously. When we say we offer a solution to addiction, we stand behind that promise by keeping our doors open indefinitely. Our long-term success comes from the time, care, and genuine relationships we build—our clients are always valued, supported, and never forgotten.
Exclusive Opportunities for Alumni
In addition to lifelong aftercare, we offer unique opportunities exclusively to former clients:
- Shareholder options are available to clients who have completed the program and maintained a healthy, stable recovery for at least 12 months.
- Franchise opportunities are available after 5 years of sustained sobriety.
These opportunities are never offered to the public. We only partner with individuals who have lived the program, understand it deeply, and embody its values.
We include quantum physics in our program because it offers a powerful bridge between modern science, human energy, and personal transformation—especially in recovery and deep life change. This is not “textbook” physics focused on equations and theories removed from daily life. Instead, it is applied science that helps us understand how our inner world directly influences our healing, behavior, and future.
At the most fundamental level, quantum physics shows us that everything is energy. Our bodies, thoughts, emotions, memories, and beliefs are not solid, fixed things—they are dynamic energy systems constantly interacting with the world around us. This understanding is especially important in recovery. Trauma, addiction, and emotional pain are not just psychological experiences; they are energetic patterns stored in the nervous system, the brain, and even the heart. When we learn how energy works, we learn how change becomes possible.
Modern neuroscience and quantum-informed biology demonstrate that the brain is plastic—it can rewire itself. Thoughts create measurable electrical impulses. Emotions generate chemical responses. Repeated thought patterns strengthen specific neural pathways, which is why the past can feel like it controls us. But the same science proves that new thoughts, intentions, and emotional states can create new neural connections. This is where recovery shifts from “managing damage” to actively creating a new life.
Science has shown that the heart has its own electromagnetic field, stronger than the brain’s, and that coherence between the heart and brain produces measurable improvements in emotional regulation, clarity, and resilience. Practices such as meditation, breathwork, and visualization—integrated throughout our program—are not spiritual ideas alone; they are scientifically validated methods for creating coherence in the nervous system. When coherence increases, stress hormones decrease, immune function improves, and emotional stability grows. This is essential for sustainable recovery.
Quantum studies also show that observation affects outcomes at the subatomic level. While this does not mean “wishful thinking,” it does show that consciousness and attention matter. Where awareness goes, energy flows. In recovery terms, this means that when we shift awareness away from identity rooted in pain, shame, or victimhood and toward intention, self-compassion, and possibility, our internal chemistry and behavior begin to change. Over time, the external results follow.
Spiritually, this science reminds us that we are not broken or powerless. We are participants in a living, responsive universe. Recovery is not about fixing something that is “wrong” with you—it is about remembering who you are beneath conditioned patterns. When science confirms that energy is constantly changing and reorganizing, it reinforces a deeply empowering truth: your past does not define your future unless you keep recreating it unconsciously.
By integrating quantum physics, neuroscience, and consciousness studies, our program helps remove the sense of victimization that often keeps people stuck. You begin to understand that while you may not have chosen your past experiences, you can influence your healing, your perception, and your direction forward. This knowledge restores agency, hope, and responsibility in a healthy, grounded way.
Everything taught in the science portions of the program is directly related to your recovery journey. You will learn how your thoughts, emotions, and intentions interact with your biology and energy field, and how to work with these systems instead of fighting them. This understanding creates awe—not just of the universe, but of yourself.
This is why quantum physics belongs here. It supports both spiritual awakening and practical healing. It shows that change is not only possible—it is natural when the right conditions are created. Recovery then becomes more than survival; it becomes an ongoing adventure of growth, awareness, and self-discovery.
Epigenetics is the study of how our environment, experiences, thoughts, and behaviors influence how our genes are expressed—essentially signaling genes to turn on or off. While our genes provide the blueprint, epigenetics shows us that we are not fixed or predetermined by them. Our biology is responsive, adaptable, and deeply connected to how we live, think, and relate to the world around us.
In recovery, epigenetics is especially powerful because it restores a sense of personal agency. It helps us understand that we are not doomed to repeat the patterns of our past or our family history. While genetic vulnerability may exist, addiction itself is not simply inherited. What is often passed down are environments, coping strategies, belief systems, trauma responses, and lifestyle patterns. These influences shape our biology over time—and importantly, they can also be reshaped.
By learning how stress, trauma, nourishment, relationships, mindset, and emotional regulation affect the body and brain, we begin to see recovery as a holistic process. Healing is not only about stopping a behavior; it’s about creating the internal and external conditions that support balance, resilience, and well-being. Science shows us that when we change our environment and our inner world, our biology responds.
There is also a spiritual dimension to this understanding. Epigenetics aligns with the idea that awareness, intention, and conscious living matter. Recovery becomes a journey of reconnecting with ourselves, cultivating presence, and recognizing that we have the capacity to influence our health, our choices, and our future. This integration of science and spirituality offers hope, empowerment, and responsibility—without blame or shame.
This teaching is often eye-opening. It invites a new way of seeing yourself and the world, grounded in both scientific understanding and personal meaning. It reminds us that healing is possible, growth is ongoing, and change is real.
