We assess every potential team member first on their level of personal life experiences, not necessarily on their scholastic level, although a mixture of both is desirable. Of course some positions require a certain level of scholastic requirements, but that must come with personal experience regarding the world of addiction.
Deslongchamps Recovery is passionate about recovery. We operate on the strong belief that unless one has experienced the devastation of addiction directly in their own lives, that it can not be fully understood. It cannot be taught in a classroom. In order to fully understand the trail of destruction that a loved one who is struggling through addiction leaves behind, one must have lived through the tragedy directly. It could have been a close family member, a friend, anyone that was close to them that suffered through addiction, including themselves is a requirement for anyone who works with Deslongchamps Recovery. During the interview process this will be discussed.
We do not hire employees at Deslongchamps Recovery before we have worked with them for 6 months. All applicants must be self employed and have their own established level of excellence. We hire them as independent contractors, then after careful consideration from both sides give them the option of becoming an employee.
Because we are a world wide service, we ask that everyone who applies to Deslongchamps Recovery be willing and able to travel anywhere in the world to work with our clients, of course all costs are covered by Deslongchamps Recovery.
We ask that all applicants have their own website or professional platform that we are able to see, which acts as a resume. We do not collect paper resumes, we must be able to see your professional accomplishments on line. Again we assess individuals on the quality of the services they offer the world.
All applicants are required to have taken some time out to understand our program and our mission before applying. Once that has been done, we encourage you to apply. We go through a 3 step interview process, which is step 1 submitting your application to us. If we believe that you are a good fit for us, we then continue to the 2nd step of the interview where we have an online interview going over Deslongchamps Recovery and have a look at your field of expertise. This is where we get a good feel for each other, and see if we are on the same page.
The final step of the interview is to go over the final details. We will send you step by step instructions once we have communicated.
